Dora Borges, with 17 years of experience in aesthetics, and Samara Novaes, a PhD in Biomedicine, Beauty, and Natural Cosmetics, joined forces after being introduced by a mutual friend. Despite their different paths, they found common ground in the challenges of being immigrants and in their desire to grow as independent women.
Both Brazilians, they share a culture of care and affection, which inspired the dream of creating a MedSpa—a safe space to care for others with the same dedication they give to themselves. In 2022, they founded MyLaser, which quickly became the starting point for something greater: Lumière: Aesthetics & Wellness.

Located in Sarasota, FL, Lumière, which means "light" in French, is a space dedicated to illuminating people. We offer personalized treatments in beauty, aesthetics, and wellness, prioritizing quality results to provide freedom, comfort, and self-esteem to every client.
